Being involved in a car accident can be scary!  Knowing what to do can help ease some of the stress.  If you are involved in a car accident:

• pull the car to the side of the road and assess the damage,

• call the police or highway patrol,

• collect as much information as possible including: names, contact information, and insurance information for everyone involved in the crash,

• notify your insurance agent and get the claims process started.
